I’ve been slow on the uptake here…

Excuse me for being slow on the uptake here, but I been naively trotting along thinking there have been no Authorisations for any SARS-CoV-2 injections without conditional or emergency caveats attached, requiring further work before formal (let’s call it orthodox) approval by a Competent Authority such as FDA, EMA or MHRA.

Only this week did I notice, from several people I know pointing it out, that MHRA appears to have formally authorised Comirnaty, even for yooung children!

So I have had a dig into it, and it seems this is, again, smoke and mirrors. This is what it seems like, and happy to discuss with MHRA if they disagree.

It begins with this announcement from MHRA

“Decision

Regulatory approval of Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine for COVID-19”
