In the White House, advising the president, and the next president.

The starting ingredients are the coal tar derivative (3-Cyanopyridine) and caustic soda. Slaoui was named head of Operation Warp Speed by Trump in 2020 and was even considered to lead NIH before Jay B was selected. So, OWS was enmeshed with PHARMA from the outset. It seems PREP provided the push past regulations and the liability shield for the products that were already essentially ready to go. Trump was apparently all in for the big, beautiful vaccine. They picked this guy because he had the goods.
