People don't understand supply chains and they certainly don't understand certifications. A certification is not granted based on just the formulation or design. It more importantly also looks at manufacturing, testing, and distribution. I sit in meetings discussing the certification of gas turbine propulsion systems where alternate suppliers or manufacturing locations are discussed and listen to people make sound arguments and observations on how a product can't carry a certification based on sourcing and testing shortfalls even though the design is same. These same people very quickly and willingly took the shot. They can't fathom that their expertise in certification of industrial products also can be applied to pharma or any other product. It mind-blowing. Some days I feel like I'm trapped in a hell hole full of very smart people that can't apply their intellect to at least question what they are told.

West coast USA, Hedley, and I will take great pleasure in walking into the local Barnes & Noble to place an order. If they refuse to take the order in person, I'll have it shipped, but the store manager will be made aware of my disappointment.
Oh I’m just making an oblique reference to regulation 174 that the lawyers with their big brains are using as an umbrella term for the gov indemnified them
As mentioned Simon, I'm not a lawyer, but EU Directives seem pretty powerful legal instruments as far as I know. BTW, EMA has let all the jabber companies break the Directives too, as laid down in the Gates manual of regulatory noncompliances...

apart from what he already did on this subject he has read the history of AZ that I provided him, filled out with your insight on how it really works, you may or may not choose to have a conversation.
At the moment the lawyers think that AZ and all the merry pharma band have a watertight case with 174 indemnity and they are concentrating as they should on what they can prove in court right now.
I will keep pushing that they understand the legal strings attached to 174 and the fun you can have manufacturing Biologics
Ah, yes, UK Medicines Act and all that. See: https://www.legislation.gov.uk/eudr/2001/83/contents - UK has had to remain fully aligned with EU Legislation for Medicines even though UK has left the EU. That's to ensure UK-based companies could go on selling into EU markets post-brexit. All this stuff about UK Medicines Act is a smoke screen - EU legislation has been in place since 1995, when it was all centralised in EMA, Canary Wyharf. Bizzarly, MHRA is based there now!

It really is staggering, isn't it! All I can think is that those people don't see medicines as physical products - they believe the hype that's been peddled for 40 years - drugs are discovered 'by accident'. - this speaks to it: https://open.substack.com/pub/hedleyrees/p/the-myth-that-is-penicillinyou-need?r=xoehy&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web :O)
Same for anyone who has the book, reviews are really important in gaining readers, so any would be appreciated 😁👍🙏
