I remember when such gene editing to combat disease or correct genetic disorders was coming to light and discussed years? decades? ago, and held such promise. Not anymore. Not with the disaster the current mRNA inoculations have wrought upon humanity.
It always was just a theory, never proven to be translatable into medical practice. It’s a bit like wanting to build a community on Mars - nice idea, but you wouldn’t want to try it!
